For the 2025 season, I was brought on to design the women’s basketball uniforms for California Tribal College during a full athletics rebrand. With a new logo and color palette introduced, my goal was to create a fresh visual identity for the team that still honored its cultural roots.

To bridge the transition between the old and new branding, I studied the original logo and pulled key tribal elements into the new designs. A distinctive tribal pattern from the old mark was adapted into the jersey side panels, while a geometric tribal shape was placed subtly behind the "Lady Eagles" wordmark on the chest plate—adding depth, symbolism, and a sense of legacy without overpowering the primary branding.

The full kit included home and away uniforms, warm-up shooting shirts, and custom backpacks. The backpacks featured tribal pattern accents as well and were personalized with each player’s number. All pieces were designed with performance and functionality in mind, using breathable, micro-mesh materials with a modern razorback cut.

This project was a unique opportunity to celebrate Indigenous identity through sport while helping usher in a bold new chapter for the Lady Eagles.
